Analysis/Reflection

This post did not highlight the message that the activists presented at the final demonstration. This post includes the Assata Shakur poem that we recited, however it did not credit the speeches made previously or the call to action for students. The administration chose what they wanted outsiders to know from the action. They posted a picture where students all seem happily united with everyone holding hands. This picture makes it look as if the college has handled the situation, and that students are now happy and returning back to their normal schedules.
