Description

Occidental College's Associated Students of Occidental College (ASOC) approves Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) to become a student organization. Though ASOC was first concerned that CORE was more tied to off-campus direction action and did not focus on the campus, the majority of the Senate felt that CORE could fall under the student organization and Senate umbrella.
