Analysis/Reflection
This article reflects the attempts made by Financial Aid to address certain issues with funding and how that may affect minority students. Funding is a major concern when tackling diversity within the institution, and this article is representative of those considerations. The article emphasizes the Director of Financial Aid's intent to attract more minority students to Oxy, as well as his concern that funding has been an adverse effect on the influx of minority students in the past. Such a statement allows for a clear image of how diversity played into offices on campus such as the Financial Aid office.
