Description

The file describes the appointment of members to sit on search committees for new full-time faculty, "recommended that students form their own parallel committees [to the AAC] and make own report to faculty committees..." student participation in faculty searches "varied widely." Meeting between AAC and "several ethnic minority faculty members to learn about their campus experience and to discuss issues of common concerns." It recommends Visiting Scholar Program, more minority speakers and the establishment of an exchange between Oxy and "appropriate academic institutions in Mexico City."
