Analysis/Reflection

As a student myself, it is always interesting listening to others experiences as a student at Oxy. It was very interesting listening and learning about the themed housing off campus for students of color and how disheartening it is that these spaces no longer exist. It was amazing listening to Professor Matsuoka and sharing very similar experiences to own current situation. The feeling of alienation and not having enough academic status is so relevant to me and so many of my classmates. It is a bittersweet feeling that students from the past and present go through similar experiences.
